Unlike many beaches surrounded by hotels, Las Perlas stands out for its free and easy access as well as a good range of public services, making it a must-visit if you want to enjoy the sea without paying for exclusive access.

Playa Las Perlas offers everything you need for a comfortable day by the sea:

Like other northern beaches in Cancún, Playa Las Perlas can be affected by sargassum, especially during the arrival season from roughly April to September, with the highest likelihood of accumulation between May and August. Unlike some areas of the Hotel Zone that benefit from continuous hotel-funded cleaning, this beach relies mainly on municipal cleanup efforts. As a result, sargassum may sometimes remain for longer periods before being removed, particularly during peak seasons or when currents shift unexpectedly.
